It's been a long time since the last Further Reading (almost a month and a half!), so I'll also include some links from that time.
- In case you haven't voted yet, the poll for which pen I should review next is still running here. I intend to pick the winner sometime next week.
- GourmetPens met up with several former pen pals and shared several pictures. The Dolce Vita comparison picture helps to show how large the Oversize actually is.
- Tim Hoffman of FPGeeks reviewed the Giuliano Mazzuoli MOKA Chiaroscuro. Its design is certainly, well, unique.
- The Noodler's Neponset should be released on Monday. Hopefully this one doesn't sell out as quickly as J. Herbin Stormy Grey did.
- Noodler's also released a new ink, General of the Armies, recently. It's already sold out at Goulet Pens, but many other retailers still have it in stock.
- Ink samples are 20% off at Goulet Pens through the end of the month.
- Penucopia wrote a fantastic article about TWSBI. I had no idea TWSBIs could accept such a wide variety of nibs from other manufacturers.
- Inkdependence! finished reviewing Caran d' Ache's new series of inks.
- Write to Me Often reviewed J. Herbin Rose Cyclamen.
- Pens! Paper! Pencils! reviewed Noodler's Purple Wampum, a dark ink sadly plagued with awful feathering.
- Leigh Reyes posted a comparison between the thoughts of pen people and those of others. The last one is hilarious!
- Scriptorium Pens now has a new pen model, the Idyll.
- FPQuest shared his five favorite vintage pens along with his five favorite modern pens.
- Edjelley reviewed Montblanc Daniel Defoe Palm Green.
If there are any great reviews I missed (and I'm sure there are), don't hesitate to contact me or leave a comment.
